These beads are quite a few years old and it was only a little while ago that I finally came up with a design. I wasn't sure about the headpin, but after I made them I liked it more and more. One of the hardest parts about designing with a gold/silver bead is do you match for the gold or the silver?
I decided that I would just go with silver and use very little findings, so all the focus is on the bead. I didn't want to add any other beads because this one is so large; I worried it would be too heavy. So, what do you think?
One of my coworkers asked for some earrings, and I decided to break out the new beads. I've had these beads and spacers for a while with nary a design idea.
It's a fairly simple design. Only one spacer and one bead. I'm not sure if it can be called "modern," but it's definitely different from my other designs. I'm happy with the design, but it's still kind of weird for me. Even though I'm still iffy on the design, I Love the beads! The strand came with...three...four different colors? What do you guys think?
I've got quite a few new designs to share, so stay tuned!
I just wanted to share my second finished pattern.
So Cute! Once I started paying more attention to the counting, this pattern became super easy and super fun. I'm still loving The Frosted Pumpkin designs. I've started another one of theirs, Latte Love! I'll show you my progress pretty soon.
