Ok, before we get into earrings, did anyone get the quote in the post title? If not, you need to go and search for the play The Scarlet Pimpernel. It's my favorite play ever! The post title comes from Elton who would rather be "off netting butterflies"...ah Pimpernel. Anyways, now on to earrings. I bought these gorgeous earrings and it took a little bit of time to figure out which spacers would work. I think it came together very well. What do you think?
Now, I'm not really partial to gold findings, but the glitter on the butterflies just called for gold and I really like the result. Thanks for stopping by and hope you enjoyed your visit.
The post title is kind of weird, but it sounded cool in my head. This is one of the few pairs of earrings I own that is kind of sophisticated; and this color combination is one of my absolute favorites. Red, Black and Silver or white. I don't know why I'm so partial to this combination, but I love it so. What do you think of this style. I like it, but I wonder if it's a little too big.
So, what do you think? Hope you enjoyed your visit and hope to see you again soon!
Here is another pair of charm earrings. I found these charms in the bead shop and bought them without any clue as to how I would use them. Well, one day I was looking at my beads and I found the perfect color red. It took a little bit of tweaking to get them to look right, but here are my cherry earrings.
I don't know if you can see the spacer, but under the green seed bead I used a really thin spacer; these are great because they add a little extra touch without overpowering smaller beads. They might be a little bit long, but they're cherries!
Hope you enjoyed visiting and hope to see you again soon.
Yes cow squares; I really can't think of another description that captures these earrings. I have actually had a few comments on these and I personally LOVE these earrings. I think I got these beads at Michael's a long time ago and I held onto them for a really long time before I could create a design that fit the bead.
The square jump rings were in the scrapbooking area. I also found them in triangles and circles; it just goes to show how versatile crafting can be. For another great example of this check out Kabobbing Cards' use of nature. She used branches; so creative, I never would have thought of this!
Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you again soon!
